Responsibilities :
Clinical Care : Provide assessment, triage, and therapeutic management to patients and families, collaborating with physicians within diverse settings (inpatient, ambulatory, or outpatient). Conduct medical histories, physical examinations, and develop treatment plans, while also performing procedures and managing patient care needs.Patient Education & Psychosocial Support : Educate patients and families about treatment plans and resources, ensuring ethical and professional support.Information Management : Adhere to documentation requirements while safeguarding patient information.Quality Management : Demonstrate professionalism, ethical behavior, and commitment to maintaining high standards of patient care.Professional Development : Engage in continuous learning and serve as a clinical resource, mentor, and preceptor to new healthcare professionals.Qualifications :
Education : Graduate from an accredited Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant program.Experience : Preferred clinical experience in the specialty / service line. All APPs must complete the Medical Staff credentialing process.Licensure : Current PA Certification (NCCPA), Connecticut State PA License, ACLS / BLS Certified, and DEA License.
