Job Summary: We are seeking career minded, passionate and motivated Hosts/Hostesses. Greeting our guests with a giant smile and hospitable welcome as they arrive for their dining experience. Answering the phones with the same giant smile and warmly assisting our guests in making a reservation for their next dining experience. We are ladies and gentlemen, serving ladies and gentlemen and the people at Slightly North of Broad are here to make good things happen for other people! We will train you! You just need to be willing to learn.

Who you are: Hosts/Hostesses are responsible for ensuring that all guests who dine with us have memorable experiences filled with hospitality, delicious food and drinks, and exceptional service. You are the welcoming face of the restaurant!! You are an ambassador on the floor and at the front door, providing our guests with warm and attentive hospitality.

This position can be full or part time!

What you’ll do:

• Greet guests and help ensure a seamless flow through the restaurant and to arranged dining tables.
• Inspect work areas for cleanliness.
• Speak clearly and persuasively in positive or negative situations and respond well to questions.
• Uphold service standards to ensure a memorable guest experience.
• Maintain and uphold our company's vision and values.
• Demonstrate a passion for details and a willingness to learn.
• Take part in pre-service duties and applicable closing duties.
• Participate in service/culinary education sessions.
• Maintain the highest standards of cleanliness and appearance throughout all areas of the restaurant both before, during and after service.
• Demonstrate an eagerness to continue to learn and grow!
