About The Position

Experience : Minimum of 2 years required, previous travel experience required

License : Valid nursing license required

Certifications : BLS required, ACLS preferred

Must-Have :

Experience in Orthopedic, General, Neuro, Vascular, and Urology surgeries is required.

Robust experience in Vascular preferred.

Experience in Da Vinci robots, endovascular procedures, and ophthalmic surgeries is a bonus.

Description :

Seeking an Operating Room Nurse with experience in various surgical specialties.

The ideal candidate will work Monday to Friday from 3 : 00 PM to 11 : 00 PM and will be on call as needed.

The operating room consists of 14 surgical rooms.

The procedures performed include a wide range of specialties, excluding hearts and transplants.

The facility is a level 1 trauma center.

Skills required include general OR, trauma, endoscopic / laparoscopic procedures, and various surgical techniques.

Experience with abdominal aortic aneurysm repair, carotid endarterectomy, and other complex procedures is necessary.

Candidates must not reside in specific restricted counties.

The patient demographics include adolescents, adults, and geriatrics.

Call requirements are minimal, with only 1-2 shifts every 6 weeks.
