[job_card.job_description]Fusion Plasma Diagnostics Pulsed Power Systems High Voltage Instrumentation Liquid Metal Systems Computational Plasma Modeling Experimental Design and Data Analysis Leading or supporting experimental campaigns on Z-pinch fusion devices Designing and fielding plasma diagnostics (e.g. Thomson scattering interferometry spectroscopy magnetics neutronics) Analyzing experimental and computational data including error propagation and interpretation Publishing and presenting scientific results Collaborating with engineering teams on system integration and experimental setups You have a strong foundation in plasma physics or related fields Youre excited by the challenge of developing fusion energy Youre a creative problem solver and effective communicator You thrive in collaborative fast-paced environments
