The purpose of the position is to reduce financial loss to the citizens of Minnesota, and insureds of Minnesota domestic insurers in other states, through the performance of complex financial and statutory compliance analysis on insurance companies domiciled in Minnesota. The position will assist with training and review of work product for less senior analysts. The position will also perform analysis on issues / items for which the Department has no formal procedures in place, recommend actions on the approval of major transactions by insurers and act as the primary contact in the department for assigned domestic companies.
