The Opportunity

Are you a driven, strategic leader with a passion for building relationships and overcoming challenges? Do you thrive in a fast-paced environment where innovation and persistence are key? If so, we want you to join our Inside Sales team as a Regional Team Manager, where you will inspire and lead a high-performing group of Account Development Managers to new heights.

What You’ll Do

As Regional Team Manager, you will :

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a regional team of Account Development Managers, empowering them to grow professionally and achieve their career goals.
  • Drive proactive, consultative sales efforts targeting decision makers and influencers within pharmaceutical and biotech companies, positioning ICON as the preferred partner for clinical development outsourcing.
  • Guide your team to increase new account penetration, secure meetings with prospective customers, and generate RFP submissions.
  • Oversee lead generation and funnel development with an annual RFP target of approx. $800M
  • Collaborate closely with Marketing and Sales Leadership to align strategies and execute revenue growth strategies across all business units.
  • Design and execute outreach campaigns tailored to regional, therapeutic, and service area priorities.
  • Manage and maintain the CRM, ensuring accurate tracking of sales activities and pipeline development.
  • Serve as an internal trainer and mentor for new hires, fostering a culture of continuous learning and development. Coach your team on sales processes and lead lifecycle management.
  • Champion process improvement initiatives to streamline workflows, enhance client value, and drive operational excellence.
