Forklift Operator

Job Description

• Operates and maintains forklift truck to insure a safe and efficient operation.
• Communicate and coordinate with previous shift driver and relief driver. Proper and thorough turn-over.
• Learn yard layout
• Learn / Know proper marking and identification of pipe.
• Complete moving and handling of XL Systems Products in accordance to company procedures
• Ensure proper procedures for cleaning and installing thread protectors.
• Obtain basic knowledge of threads.
• Return tools to proper places at the end of each shift.
• Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns.
• Complete routine maintenance of equipment
• Delivery of proper material around yard as directed via procedures or supervisor.
• Maintain a steady flow of material through the yard.
• Perform preoperational checks on forklifts and report all service concerns.
• Perform all tasks and duties in harmony with other employees to create and maintain a safe working environment.
• Ensure compliance of the company's QHSE policies, and corporate code and overall company's objectives
• Other duties as defined by Facility Materials Manager.
