A company is looking for a CICS Systems Programmer to join their IT Operations Department.
Key Responsibilities
Design, implement, and maintain CICS transaction processing environments on z / OS systems
Troubleshoot and resolve complex transaction failures and system outages efficiently
Configure and optimize CICS regions, ensuring high availability and performance
Required Qualifications
7-10+ years of hands-on experience as a CICS Systems Programmer in large enterprise environments
Strong expertise in CICS TS 4.x / 5.x, CPSM, RDO, and CICS configuration
Advanced knowledge of z / OS, SDSF, TSO / ISPF, JCL, VSAM, DB2, MQ, and SMP / E
Experience troubleshooting complex transaction failures and system outages
Strong understanding of security controls and regulatory frameworks in Financial Services
