Location : Columbus, OH

Duration : 4+ Months (Possibility of Extension and conversion based upon performance)

Shift : Monday - Friday 6 : 30 am - 5 : 30 pm

Pay Range : $20.24 - $22.00 / hr. on W2

Job Description :

The Patient Services Representative represents the face of our company to patients who come in, both as part of their health routine or for insights into life-defining health decisions. The PSR draws quality blood samples from patients and prepares those specimens for lab testing while following established practices and procedures. The PSR has direct contact with patients and creates an atmosphere of trust and confidence while explaining procedures to patients and drawing blood specimens in a skillful, safe and accurate manner.

Responsibilities :

• Perform venipuncture and capillary punctures using aseptic techniques.
• Label and document specimens accurately with patient information and collection time.
• Excellent phlebotomy skills to include pediatric and geriatric.
• Follow all infection control and safety procedures.
• Transport specimens to the appropriate laboratory or prepare them for courier pickup.
• Assist patients who experience adverse reactions during or after blood collection.
• Maintain accurate records in the electronic medical record system.
• Order and stock phlebotomy supplies as needed.
