Physician Assistant - Cardiovascular Surgery Locum Tenens Opportunity near Petersburg, VA (ASAP - Ongoing)

We are actively seeking a Board-Certified Physician Assistant (PA) specializing in Cardiovascular Surgery for an exciting locum tenens opportunity near Petersburg, VA. This position is ideal for a highly skilled PA with experience in both inpatient and outpatient settings, providing essential coverage due to a staffing change from full-time to PRN. This opportunity requires a PA who is comfortable supporting a surgeon in a hospital-based environment and working within a collaborative team.

Position Details :

• Position Type : Locum Tenens, covering both inpatient and outpatient services.
• Start Date : ASAP - Ongoing.
• Schedule : 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with weekend and on-call responsibilities.

Call Requirements : "First call" and on-call for surgery, with a 1 : 5 call ratio.

Inpatient : 1-2 cases per day with PRN rounding.
