ADVANCED SOFTWARE ENGINEER

Through your leadership, experience, and actions, you will work on an Agile development team creating the front-end of next generation web applications in Kroger's Promotions Management organization.

You will interact with onshore & offshore contractors, and other full time employees in design, implementation, and troubleshooting of Web Applications.

You must have excellent communication & leadership skills, a passion for quality, able to design and code high performing-(internal)customer centric web application user interfaces.

The candidate must have excellent leadership skills and a strong bias towards action and getting work done.

You will be expected to be a multiplier, where through your leadership and guidance the overall team will improve in both their knowledge and ability to deliver.

Accountable for proactively leading or supporting software engineering activities that create deliverables that guide the direction, development, and delivery of software solutions that meet business needs.

Provide leadership, facilitation, analysis, and design tasks required to deliver critical business solutions.

Develop target-state guidance (i.e., reusable standards, design patterns, guidelines, individual parts, and configurations) to evolve the organization's development process.
