About the Role

As a Direct Support Professional, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with intellectual and / or developmental disabilities. You will provide hands-on assistance, guidance, and instruction-helping people achieve their personal goals, gain independence, and become active members of their communities.

Responsibilities include :

Assisting individuals with daily living skills and personal goals

Providing mentorship, encouragement, and skill-building opportunities

Supporting community involvement and inclusion

Promoting independence, safety, and well-being

Ideal Candidate :

Education : High School Diploma or equivalent

Age : 18 years or older

License : Valid New York State driver's license (required)

Qualities : Compassionate, reliable, and eager to make a difference

Passion : Dedicated to empowering individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
