Maintenance Tech

Role and Responsibilities

• Will travel from site to site in Essex County in Company provided vehicle to complete with assigned tasks.
• Support with general cleaning or furniture setup duties as and when required.
• Responsible for preventative maintenance on site, including but not limited to proactive such as a HVAC filter change.
• To assist with minor plumbing such as unblocking sinks and drains etc.
• To deal with minor electrical repairs such as replacement of light switches.
• Investigate possible problems and manage solutions accordingly.
• Preparing reports of completed and pending work.
• Determine tools and equipment needed for individual repair or maintenance job.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE * Valid Driver’s License

• Basic Computer Skills
• Written and Verbal English Skills
• Competent at using basic tools.
• Proficient with work order management systems.
• Hands on experience using small commercial/mechanical equipment.
• Literacy and numeracy skills in order to check delivery notes, measurements etc.
• Able to regularly handle/carry items up to 75 lbs in weight.
• High school diploma or equivalent.
