Employment Defense Attorney — Seattle, WA (Hybrid Enabled)
We’re on the lookout for a talented Employment Defense Attorney to join a dynamic legal team defending employers across Washington and beyond.
What You’ll Do
- Defend employers in a wide range of employment litigation, including discrimination, harassment, retaliation, wrongful termination, wage & hour, and related claims in state and federal courts.
- Draft pleadings, motions, briefs, discovery, and other legal documents with precision and strategy.
- Counsel clients on proactive employment risk management and defense strategies.
- Advocate in hearings, mediations, and trials when necessary.
- Collaborate with teams to build strong defense strategies and deliver top-tier client service.
What You Bring
Active license to practice in Washington.Strong litigation experience — typically 2+ years in employment defense or related civil litigation (specific years can vary by role level and compensation).Excellent research, writing, and advocacy skills.Perks & Culture

The annual salary for this position is between $150,000 – $250,000 annually . Factors which may affect pay within this range include geography / market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
