Registered Nurse (RN) – Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) Facility – Contract Location : Atlanta, GA Job Type : Contract (13 weeks) Shifts Available : Day Shift | 7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM | 36 hours weekly Night Shift | 7 : 00 PM – 7 : 00 AM | 36 hours weekly Start Date : 12 / 29 / 2025 Pay : Up to $2,006 / week gross (includes $1,286 travel stipend) Are you a compassionate and detail-oriented RN looking to provide specialized, long-term care to patients with complex medical conditions? Job Description : Possess specialized knowledge and skills for the care of adult or geriatric patients experiencing mental health disorders. Apply clinical expertise in assessing, implementing, and evaluating patient responses to complex conditions, therapies, and interventions. Initiate nursing care, health teaching, and counseling to support life and restore well-being, under the guidance of the nurse practice act and appropriate supervision. Comply with ATC and client facility policies and procedures. Conduct and prioritize individualized patient assessments. Collaborate on care plan development, implementation, and valuation. Administer treatments as ordered by physicians. Provide patient and family education. Accurately document assessments and responses to interventions. Initiate emergency protocols as necessary. Maintain HIPAA-compliant patient confidentiality. Deliver culturally sensitive, age-appropriate care while preserving patient autonomy and dignity. Advocate for patient rights and communicate condition changes. Uphold professional and ethical nursing standards.
