Michael Kim, 's laboratory in the Department of Surgical Oncology at The University of Texas MD Anderson Cancer Center, invites applications for a postdoctoral position focused on uncovering fundamental mechanisms of cancer biology with high translational potential. Our research focuses on defining the transcriptional and genetic programs that sustain pancreatic cancer cell survival, promote metastasis, and confer therapeutic resistance. Using integrative approaches-including murine models, human tumor datasets, and in vitro systems-we aim to translate mechanistic insights into novel therapeutic strategies.
This position offers comprehensive training in cancer genetics, signal transduction, transcriptomics, functional genomics, and mechanism-based approaches to cancer therapeutic development. The successful candidate will be able to lead projects incorporating cutting-edge tools in both experimental and computational biology. We are seeking a highly motivated and intellectually curious individual with a , , or equivalent degree in cancer biology, molecular and cellular biology, biochemistry, genetics, or a related discipline. Ideal candidates will have :
