Supervisory Program Manager
You will serve as a SUPERVISORY PROGRAM MANAGER in the PRICE FIGHTER DEPARTMENT of NAVSUP WEAPON SYSTEMS SUPPORT.
Duties
You will serve as the Navy Price Fighter Division Head, responsible for overseeing and directing seven branches and supervising a subordinate staff that performs the Divisions administrative and financial management work.
You will facilitate coordination between other Commands (i.e. governmental [DOD] Directorates and various contractors), Program Managers (PMAs for NAVAIR, PMSs, PMOs, PMWs for NAVSEA, PMs for the Army and SPOs, and JPOs for the Air Force).
You will review, propose, and plan Department changes in organization, distribution of functions, workflow, to accomplish special projects, to accommodate increased project loading, and to improve overall operational efficiency and effectiveness.
You will oversee the management of departmental budgets and program funding for standing work and special short-term projects, ensuring accurate program expenditure records and manpower allocations and usage.
You will provide expert technical guidance / direction / strategies for execution of high visibility, high complexity issues.

Your resume must demonstrate at least one year of specialized experience at or equivalent to the GS-14 grade level or pay band in the Federal service or equivalent experience in the private or public sector. Specialized experience must demonstrate the following : Familiarization with Navy Price Fighter (WSS N25) operations and functioning as a Technical Program Manager for various critical, high-priority, developmental electronic and structural aeronautical, marine and land programs. Selectee will be responsible for 1) Managing highly complex, highly visible engineering / technical cost and pricing programs or projects and assigned team personnel; 2) Analyzing programmatic issues and developing proposed solutions, with consideration to DoD-wide impact; and 3) Presenting analytical findings, issues, and proposed solutions to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
