General Helper - 2nd shift

PRINCIPAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

General Quality Control.

Responsible for packing product that are within specifications, including size, color, shape, etc.

Assigned to clear jams in packing / labeling / casing area.

Produce to product specifications as specified by the customer

Assist other general helper roles as assigned

Maintain the area clean and safe – general housekeeping.

OTHER DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES :

Commit to a continuous improvement work team environment

Work weekends as assigned

Other duties and / or projects assigned

SCOPE DATA : No direct reports

Reports to Plant Manager / takes direction from Foreperson

WORKING RELATIONSHIP :

Works closely with oven operator, packaging lead, quality and maintenance staff as needed, as well as other general helper positions

PHYSICAL DEMANDS :

Pushing, pulling, bending

Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds

QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED :

Education :

High School Diploma or equivalent
