Be a part of Betty Jean Kerr People’s Health Centers S.T.A.R.S. SUD Treatment Program for Co-Occurring Disorders. The S.T.A.R.S. SUD Program utilizes the Integrated Treatment for Co-occurring Disorders. The integrated treatment team will be guided by the needs and number of clients being supported. The team includes a psychiatrist, nurse, Team Leader, Associate Counselor and a Community Support Specialist. People’s Health Centers will work to ensure that team member include individuals with knowledge and training in integrated treatment, ASAM Continuum of Care, skills including co-occurring disorders, motivational interviewing, stage-wise treatment, level of care, cognitive behavioral strategies and substance use disorders treatment.

SUMMARY : QUALIFICATIONS ;

A licensed (or provisionally licensed) QMHP with one year of full time experience in substance use treatment.

A person who is certified or registered (not recognized) as a substance abuse professional by the Missouri Substance Abuse Counselor’s Certification Board. (CCDP , CCDP-D, CCJP, CADC, CRADC , CRAADC, MAADC, RSAP-P - Registered Substance Abuse Professional ,– Provisional

MINIMUM EDUCATION, TRAINING AND EXPERIENCE :

Education and experience equivalent to Bachelor's Degree in mental health, and social services. Master's Preferred. Has at least one year of experience working with people with substance use disorder. Some experience providing employment services (job coaching, job development, supported employment. Ability to work as an effective team member is essential.
