Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a Labor & Delivery position in Santa Clara, CA, requiring a valid CA RN license and at least 1 year of recent L&D experience.

Details

• 13-week contract at a hospital-based Labor & Delivery unit in Santa Clara, CA
• Night shift schedule: 7:00 PM – 7:30 AM (12-hour shifts)
• 36 hours per week
• EMR: Epic

Requirements

• Active CA RN license required
• Current BLS and Advanced Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certifications required — no pending certifications accepted
• Minimum 1 year of recent full-time L&D experience within the last 3 years required
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program required
• BSN or related degree preferred
• 5+ years of recent L&D experience (within the last 2 years) preferred
• 1 year of high-risk Labor & Delivery experience within the last 2 years preferred
• Last 4 digits of SSN and date of birth required for consideration

Additional Information

• High-risk OB experience is preferred, indicating a complex patient population
• Local candidates are welcome to apply — local and travel rates are the same
• Per Kaiser Permanente's HR Tenure Policy, contingent workers may not exceed two years of total assignment time without a 90-day break, regardless of whether the work was continuous or involved multiple assignments with gaps of less than three months
