Job Title: CAD Drafter Job Summary CAD Drafter will be responsible for creating architectural and structural related drawings for Precast Concrete projects and plans using computer-aided design (CAD) software. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in drafting, excellent attention to detail, and the ability to work collaboratively with engineers and designers. Responsibilities: - Develop detailed schematics, diagrams, and blueprints using CAD software such as AutoCAD, Sketchup, and MicroStation. - Collaborate with engineers and designers to understand project requirements and specifications. - Create 2D animations to demonstrate design concepts. - Prepare drawings for mechanical design, civil engineering projects, and building construction. - Review designs for errors before final submission. - Utilize software like Civil 3D and for specific project requirements. - Assist in the preparation of documentation for project bids and proposals. Qualifications: - Proficiency in AutoCAD, Sketchup, and other CAD software. - Strong understanding of drafting techniques and principles. - Experience in mechanical design, building construction, or civil engineering projects. - Knowledge of 2D animation is a plus. - Familiarity with tools like MicroStation and NavisWorks is advantageous. - Attention to detail and accuracy in work. - Excellent communication skills and ability to work in a team environment.
