About the team and position

The Procurement Specialist ( Buyer, Procurement ) will support procurement activity across the business. This individual will identify and source business needs, perform data collection and analysis, assemble and publish reports and provide support to Category Managers and management.

What you'll be doing

• Recommend alternate product suggestions and sources based on requirements.
• Process requisitions and execute purchase orders.
• Ownership and accountability for the entire purchase order (PO) procurement process to ensure efficient fulfillment.
• Identifying and executing on cost savings opportunities.
• Accurately and timely forecasting of IT needs, formulated with input from across the business.
• Review status of open requests and purchase orders and provide regular updates to stakeholders.
• Receive and execute ad-hoc requests.
• Produce reports as requested by the Procurement Team and internal customers / management.
• Help establish, maintain, and adhere to a procurement budget.
