Utah Nursing Job Details

Location : Brigham City, Utah (84302) – Northern Utah healthcare jobs

Assignment Length : 13-week travel nursing contract (November 17, 2025 – February 16, 2026)

Unit : Women's Services – LDRP (Labor, Delivery, Recovery, Postpartum)

Shift : 12-hour night shifts (5 : 00 PM – 5 : 00 AM)

Hours per Week : 36

Number of Beds : 9

Patient Ratios : 1 : 3 postpartum, 1 : 1 active labor

Scrubs : Provided on unit

Documentation : CPN and Meditech EHR

Estimated Weekly Pay : $1680 – $1800

Registered Nurse Qualifications

Active Registered Nurse (RN) license in Utah or compact state – Utah nursing license accepted

Minimum 2 years of recent Labor & Delivery RN experience

Completed fetal monitoring course

Experience circulating for C-section deliveries

Experience in an LDRP hospital setting

Required certifications : BLS, NRP, STABLE, ACLS

Ability to care for GYN and Level 2 Special Care Nursery infants

L&D RN Responsibilities

Provide comprehensive nursing care to laboring, postpartum, and recovery patients in a clinical hospital setting

Assist and circulate for C-section deliveries as part of a collaborative healthcare team

Monitor fetal heart rates and respond promptly to clinical changes

Perform newborn resuscitation and stabilization as needed

Care for GYN and hysterectomy patients as assigned

Document patient care accurately using CPN and Meditech electronic health record systems

Work closely with fellow Registered Nurses and healthcare technicians to ensure optimal patient outcomes

Uphold unit and hospital policies while maintaining a positive patient experience
