Compensation :
$60,000 - $70,000 yearly DOE plus benefits
Responsibilities :
Draft subpoenas and coordinate with process serversGather information about legal issues from the client in interviewsWork with lawyers to prepare for trial by conducting research on legal articles, preparing and organizing exhibits, organizing and coordinating witnesses, filing motions, and assisting with client meetingsPerform administrative duties such as answering phone calls and keeping our case filing system organized so all documents are readily accessibleAssist lawyers in preparing legal documentation, pleadings, and correspondence including correspondence such as interrogatories, subpoenas, deposition notices, complaints, pretrial orders, legal briefs, and affidavitsOrganize & Manage Matters : Maintain files, docket events, and ensure smooth case flow.Draft, Prepare, & Review Documents : Prepare trusts, wills, and estate planning documents with precision for attorney review.Support Clients : Communicate updates, gather information, and assist clients with form completion.Document & Case Support : Prepare affidavits, pleadings, subpoenas, deposition notices, legal briefs, and correspondence under attorney supervision.Administrative Support : Assist with e-filing, phone coverage, scheduling, and notarizing documents.Team Collaboration : Participate in weekly case management meetings and contribute to a supportive, team-oriented culture.Qualifications :
Candidates should possess high-level organizational skills, and time-management skillsTalented communicator and writer3+ years of legal service experience under an attorney or lawyer in a law firm settingCompletion of a nationally-accredited paralegal program strongly preferredMust have completed an ABA-approved paralegal certificate program such as an Associate’s degree or proprietary school program in paralegal studies, Bachelor’s degree desiredMost Important : 2-5 years of Florida Estate Planning experience, including trust drafting, is non-negotiable. Candidates without this experience will not be considered.Strong preference for candidates with advanced paralegal education or certification .Excellent oral and written communication skills.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required.Strong time management and organizational skills.Proficiency with WealthCounsel and / or Westlaw Form Builder (or similar document-building software).Experience with Clio Manage (or similar case management software).Proficiency with Google Workspace (Gmail, Drive, Calendar) preferred.Typing speed : 50–100 WPM required.About Company
