Senior Software Engineer - In-Store Systems

We’re seeking a talented Senior Software Engineer to join our In-Store Systems Engineering team. In this role, you will develop software for our in-store hardware and the API services it interacts with. This is a full-time remote position for candidates within the AEST timezone, allowing you to collaborate with our engineering teams across Australia and the United States.

Your responsibilities will include :

• Developing Golang components for our RaspberryPi-based media players that operate in customer stores, leveraging MQTT for communication.
• Refactoring existing components from Python to Golang to enhance performance and scalability.
• Building and maintaining APIs that integrate with our Python core API while implementing reliability improvements.
• Collaborating with our Platform and Operations teams to ensure seamless rollout of components and a stellar in-store experience.
• Enhancing CI / CD pipelines and monitoring systems to maintain operational excellence.
