We re seeking an experienced Nurse Practitioner (Cardiothoracic Surgery) for a locum assignment supporting a busy surgical service. If you love high-acuity care and working closely with surgeons and ICU teams, this role is for you!

Facility Setting

Inpatient Post-Op Surgical Floor & ICU (with some office/rounding responsibilities)

Schedule & Coverage

Mon Fri 8:00 AM 4:00 PM (10 days per month)
Call Required 10 days/month
Includes 2 weekends per month

Role Highlights

Autonomous NP role with physician support available
Adult & geriatric patient population
Average 12 patients/day
Level I trauma environment
EMR: EPIC
Duties include:

• Suture removal

• Diagnose & treat illnesses

• Order & interpret tests

• Prescribe medications

• Coordinate care & rounding

• Pre-op physical exams

Requirements

ANCC or AANP certification Required
Active Ohio NP licenseRequired
BLS & ACLSRequired
Relevant cardiothoracic surgery training & experience Required
Clean background Required
