Our complete array of food packaging serves a variety of markets, including fruit, vegetables, dairy, fish, meat, ready meals, pet food, infant milk powder and other dry food products. Location :

Plant 37 is located in Hanover, PA. The Plant manufactures 2-piece and 3-piece steel cans for the food industry. There are approximately 95 employees at the Hanover location. The Hanover Plant is located on Route 194 in York County and is in close proximity to York, PA, Gettysburg, PA and the Maryland border.

Position Overview :

The Lacquer Spray Machine (L.S.M.) Operators are responsible for the safe and proper application of the lacquer spray coating to the inside of the can in compliance with quality control specifications.  They have primary control of the processing of cans from the point of infeeding of cans into the conveying above the spray machines, until they reach the Internal Bake Ovens (I.B.O.’s).

Duties And Responsibilities :

• Clearing can jams from Lacquer Spray Machines and from upper conveyors.
• Check and monitor the following :

Clean canworks

Overall quality of cans

Lacquer pressure of LSMs

Temperature of lacquer

Copper sulfate checks on flanges
