Description - What You Will Do

• Conduct both routine and specialized clinical lab tests, including but not limited to chemistry, hematology, and immunology, following established guidelines.
• Evaluate results for precision, troubleshoot inconsistencies, and carry out maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
• Assist in specimen collection and prepare samples for necessary testing.
• Thoroughly document procedures, mentor new team members or students, and uphold high lab quality standards.
• Ensure a clean, safe work area, complying with all regulatory and accreditation criteria.

Education

• Bachelor's degree in Clinical or Medical Laboratory Science or an equivalent allied health field, along with ASCP/AMT certification preparation.

Certifications

• Obtaining ASCP or AMT Certification in Clinical Laboratory Science (CLS) is required within the first year of employment.
• Ongoing maintenance of current certification throughout your career.
