Supply Network Collaboration (SNC) is a software layer in the SAP system architecture that provides an interface to an external security product. SNC strengthens the security of SAP systems by implementing additional security functions that SAP systems do not directly provide. By providing security at the application level, SNC guarantees secure connections between the components of the SAP system regardless of the communication link or transport medium.
