HVAC Technician

We are seeking a full-time HVAC Mechanic to provide facilities operations and maintenance services at the courthouse in Richmond. This role requires expertise in handling large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.

Responsibilities :

• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on boilers, chillers, hot water heating systems, domestic water plumbing systems, air handlers, VAV components, and other various HVAC equipment and building systems.
• Possess general maintenance knowledge to operate and repair complex mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
• Work on large commercial heating and air conditioning equipment.

Work Environment :

You will work onsite at the Harrisonburg Federal Courthouse. The standard working hours are Monday to Friday, 7 : 00 am to 3 : 30 pm, with some on-call duties. The work environment is structured and professional, ensuring you have the resources needed to perform at your best.

Job Type & Location :

This is a Permanent position based out of Richmond, VA.

Pay and Benefits :

The pay range for this position is $66560.00 - $66560.00 / yr. Health and Welfare Pay : $1,211 per month (per CBA) and it also offers Vacation, Sick Leave, Paid Holidays and Pension Plan per the collective bargaining agreement.

This is a fully onsite position in Richmond, VA.
