Title: Acute Care Dialysis/ Nephrology Registered Nurse (RN)

Shift: Days and Nights

As an acute care Dialysis/Nephrology RN, you’ll provide expert care to patients with chronic kidney disease and acute renal conditions, supporting them through complex treatment plans that include dialysis, medication management, and education. Your role will combine advanced nursing practice with compassionate patient advocacy.

What You’ll Do

• Deliver individualized care plans for patients with kidney disease.
• Administer treatments, medications, and dialysis therapies.
• Educate patients and families on kidney health, disease management, and lifestyle support.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to optimize patient outcomes.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and patient safety measures.
• Participate in quality improvement initiatives and uphold the Texas Nurse Practice Act

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
• 1+ year of acute care RN experience.
• Current RN license (Texas or Compact State).
• Certifications:
• BLS required.
• ACLS required prior to orientation completion.
• Skills & Attributes:
• Ability to work with therapeutic equipment.
• Strong data documentation and interpretation skills.
• Compassion, patience, and attention to detail.
