A valid driver's license and readiness for regional travel. 2-year technical degree in Electrical / Automation OR 1+ year hands-on experience in a related field. Now, we're on the lookout for a Field Service Engineer to join our Customer Support team. If you're a hands-on problem-solver with an eye for detail, a love for machinery, and a knack for customer service, keep reading. (And yes - we'll set you up with a company vehicle, full training, and OT pay after 8 hours.) This position will primarily cover the greater Milwaukee, WI region.
Your Mission (Should You Choose to Accept It)
- Be the hero on-site : Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair Makino machines at customer facilities.
- Train users like a pro and share your tech knowledge with customers who count on you.
- Bridge the gap between Makino and the customer - you're our front line and our friendly face.
- Document what you do like a detail-loving detective.
- Work with our Customer Support tech systems and lend your smarts to our Knowledge Products team.
