Role Description

Silver Sluggers is seeking a Strength and Speed coach with direct experience training baseball and softball players. This is a part-time, hourly role for a Strength and Speed Coach based in Middleton, WI. The coach will be responsible for developing and implementing strength and speed class programming for athletes (male and female) 10-17 years old. Roles and responsibilities include conducting training sessions, monitoring athlete progress, and collaborating with coaches to optimize player development while ensuring the safety and well-being of all participants.

Compensation

Hourly, based upon experience. Industry competitive.

Qualifications

• Proficiency in Strength & Conditioning and Strength Training methodologies
• Knowledge in Sports Science and its application to athletic performance improvement
• Experience in Injury Prevention techniques and enhancing athletic performance
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively mentor and guide athletes
• Certification in strength and conditioning (e.g., NSCA or CSCS) preferred
• Passion for working with athletes and fostering their physical and mental growth
• Ability to adapt training techniques to meet the diverse needs of players
