A company is looking for a Coding Quality Analyst - Inpatient.
Key Responsibilities
Assess coding accuracy and completeness through audits to ensure compliance with guidelines
Provide feedback to coding team members and assist with training and onboarding of new coders
Maintain coding guidelines and collaborate on operational activities related to coding reviews
Required Qualifications, Training, and Education
High School Diploma or equivalent and Medical Coding Program Graduate required
Graduate of a Health Information Technology program preferred
3 years of progressive acute care hospital inpatient coding experience required
Certified Coding Specialist (CCS) or Certified Inpatient Coder (CIC) required
Registered Health Information Technician (RHIT) or Registered Health Information Administrator (RHIA) preferred
