Java Developer

A company is looking for a Java Developer to support the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) by developing and maintaining large-scale enterprise applications within an AWS Cloud environment.

Key Responsibilities

Build and deploy cloud-native applications using AWS services within a Linux environment

Independently develop and unit-test loosely coupled, event-driven services using Spring Boot and PostgreSQL

Actively participate in an automated Jenkins CI / CD workflow, ensuring code quality and successful deployment

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or 3 years of equivalent work experience

5 years of hands-on experience in Java 11+ and the Spring Ecosystem

5 years of experience developing for AWS environments

5 years of experience with PostgreSQL and asynchronous messaging via AWS SQS

2 years of experience using Splunk and New Relic for system logging and performance monitoring
