Job Description :

Pay Range : $55hr - $60hr

Requirement / Must Have :

  • Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or equivalent experience in application development.
  • 8+ years of experience as a software developer using InterSystems Cache technology.
  • Extensive experience with InterSystems Cache and IRIS platforms.
  • Strong experience with MUMPS / DSM.
  • Experience with Antrim LAB and FIN systems.
  • Proficiency in Cache Object Script and SQL.
  • Experience with Cache Server Pages, JavaScript, CSS, and web application development.
  • Working knowledge of XML / XSLT.
  • Experience with Linux / Unix and shell scripting.
  • Knowledge of HL7 and ICD-10.

Experience :

  • 8+ years of hands-on software development using InterSystems Cache / IRIS.
  • Proven experience upgrading legacy applications to modern platforms.
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall environments.

    • Responsibilities :

  • Develop and support laboratory and billing systems using InterSystems Cache / IRIS.
  • Perform application upgrades to new database and application platforms.
  • Analyze existing application code and design solutions for modernization and improvement.
  • Participate in full SDLC including design, implementation, testing, and deployment.
  • Collaborate with project managers, business analysts, test engineers, and business stakeholders.
  • Develop and execute unit, system integration, and user acceptance test plans.
  • Prepare and test operational instructions for developed programs and systems.
  • Provide recommendations for functional enhancements and technical efficiencies.
  • Identify and raise long-term architectural concerns within projects.
  • Develop accurate estimates and risk assessments and track project status.
  • Communicate project progress to management and stakeholders.

    • Should Have :

  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to self-manage small projects and contribute to larger project teams.
  • Experience working in healthcare IT environments.

    • Skills :

  • InterSystems Cache and IRIS.
  • MUMPS / DSM.
  • Cache Object Script.
  • SQL.
  • JavaScript and CSS.
  • XML / XSLT.
  • Linux / Unix shell scripting.
  • HL7 and ICD-10.
  • Web application development.
