It all started with one big dream, two crazy cousins, and the perfect combination of flour, sugar, and chocolate chips. After thousands of dollars in wasted dough, recipes that did not live up to their expectations, and cookies that were just plain embarrassing to them today, the cousins decided to try something a little unique, A/B test their way to the perfect cookie. McGowan, coming from the software world, was accustomed to this methodology of testing. They would take the exact same cookie, change out one ingredient like chocolate chips and randomly visit local gas stations and grocery stores simply asking one question "Which one of these two cookies is the best?" They continued this testing on ingredients and cooking methods until they came up with what they believe is the world's best chocolate chip cookie.

WHO ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

Crumbl Cookies in Vestavia Hills is looking for early morning employees to be a dough maker that are at least 18 years of age and available during the hours of 5 a.m. - 2 p.m., Monday – Saturday. We are closed Sundays. We make all of our cookies from scratch and need someone who is dependable and hard-working and has attention to detail. Applicant must also be competent in following a recipe. Energy, focus, and speed are necessary for success in this role. A dough-maker should be comfortable working in a high performance, target-driven environment while promoting teamwork and efficiency. Training offered on-the-job; no previous bakery experience necessary.

JOB DUTIES (include but are not limited to):

• Work quickly, while accurately following a recipe
• Quickly ball freshly mixed cookie dough to prepare for the day
• Frost sugar cookies
• Work with a team to accurately complete tasks

Must be 18 years or older to apply * Strong communication, time and resource management, and planning skills * Attention to detail, especially when performing quality inspections on ingredients and products * Basic math and computer skills * Willingness to work independently or with other team members to solve problems, plan schedules, fulfill orders, and create amazing baked goods * Flexibility to work around customer demands, including early morning, night, weekend and holiday availability * Ability to work in a hot, hectic environment * Stand, walk, bend, use hands and appliances, and lift heavy items for extended periods * Legally eligible to work in the United States * Excellent communication skills * Time-management skills * Ability to lift 50 lbs. * Able to stand for hours at a time
