Department Summary : The Human Resources Department provides many services to our multi-hospital organization including : recruiting, employee relations, labor relations, compensation and benefits management, information services, and on-boarding / off-boarding.
Position Overview : The Benefits Manager is responsible for the strategic design, administration, and ongoing management of St. Charles Health System's comprehensive employee benefits programs.
Essential Functions and Duties :
Education :
Required : Bachelor's degree in a related field Human Resources, Business Administration, Finance or related field.

Licensure / Certification / Registration :
Required : N / A
Preferred : SHRM-CP or SHRM-SCP. Certified Benefits Professional (CBP).
Experience :
Required : Minimum of five (5) years of progressive experience in benefits administration. Minimum one (1) year leadership experience. Experience managing a self-funded health plan.

Personal Protective Equipment :
Must be able to wear appropriate Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) required to perform the job safely.
