OPERATORS
Mears is looking for Operators with valid CDL licenses to support their Dacono, CO. jobsite. In this role, you'll join field crews to safely install and replace underground utilities on pipeline projects, working directly under the Foreman and Superintendent. The position involves physically demanding outdoor work, operating various construction equipment, and assisting craft workers with their assigned duties.

Operation of heavy equipment including excavators, track hoes, backhoes, front end loaders and skidsteers to excavate or move dirt, rock and other materialsPrepare and maintain equipment for safe daily operationsAble to perform safe and clean trench excavation and backfillAble to set and pull shield shoring in accordance to OSHA safe practicesMove and drive tractor trailers or truck and trailer combinationsUphold all Mears Safety Requirements and wear appropriate PPE as neededComply with operating safety rules and regulations per OSHA safe practicesPrepare documents, reports, or job aids related to work, equipment, and safetyLoading and unloading of company vehiclesPrepare pre-trip equipment prior to mobilizing to job siteAssist in securing work site, equipment at the end of each shiftPerform miscellaneous duties as assignedKEY QUALIFICATIONS :
Valid driver license required, CDL preferredExperience in civil underground / underground electric installation preferredDOT Medical Card (if operating company equipment)High school Diploma or equivalentThe physical activity for this role includes :Standing, walking, for extended periodsRepeatedly lifting up to 50 poundsRepeatedly kneeling, crawling, climbing and reachingExposure to loud work environmentsWork outdoors in a range of conditions, including hot and cold weather.Travel as needed to job sitesPass Pre-Employment drug screen and background checkPosting Date : This role is accepting applications until 012 / 31 / 2025
