[job_card.job_description]Experience using Microsoft Office Applications (Word / Excel / Outlook) General automotive servicing experience with an electrical, hydraulic, and internal combustion engine background 3+ years of experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment – also spelt out GSE 3+ years of experience maintaining aircraft Ground Support Equipment Experience formally or informally leading a team Ability to work and support a 24 / 7 on-call rotation environment Ability to travel domestically and internationally on short notice; as much as 50% of the time. No international travel known at this time. At the sole discretion of leadership, employee must be willing and able (on potentially short-notice) to deploy / travel to a variety of locations (domestic and international) and for a variety of deployment durations to meet customer needs and the statement of work. Unless compelling reasons exist, failure to deploy / travel will be considered as a resignation Hydraulic Operation understanding AC / DC electrical Heavy machinery mechanical operation Assist the Lead Technician as needed in daily accomplishments and tasking Maintain a limited number of systems by removing, replacing, repairing or upgrading components Troubleshoot problems to isolate faulty components Conduct routine functional tests by operating equipment and using appropriate test equipment Perform a variety of visual inspections as required by equipment maintenance documents Document maintenance and inspection actions as required Create and maintain maintenance, calibration and inventory tracking systems Work under general supervision and with minimal direction
The Fountain Group is currently seeking a Ground Support Equipment (GSE) Technician for a prominent client of ours. This position is located in New Orleans, LA . Details for the position are as follows :
Payrate : $34-42 / hr W2
Job Description :
- 14 months contract – could extend longer possibility for FTE – based on performance and budget.
- Shift : 6am – 2 : 30pm
- Security Clearance required to start. (A U.S. Security Clearance that has been active in the past 24 months is considered active.)
- High School / GED required.
