Our Client is seeking Certified Nurse Aides (CNA) in the Norristown area to service clients with addictions, mental health & behavioral health issues. This opportunity will include rounds, vitals, meeting with clients, treatment interventions, goal setting, counseling and documentation.

ONGOING scheduling needed (This included every other weekend!)

Most shifts are :

2 : 45PM-11 : 30PM & 10 : 45PM-7 : 30AM

All days of the week available!

SUMMARY OF CLIENT'S DESCRIPTION OF THIS OPPORTUNITY

• Assist the nurse and treatment team in providing a safe and supportive environment which promotes patient rehabilitation
• Participate in nursing shift report for full update on status of patients
• Respond to medical and psychiatric emergencies and assists in the management of behavioral emergencies utilizing nonviolent crisis interventions
• Available for discussions with individual patients as needed
• Assist with basic nursing procedures including personal hygiene as needed (bed bath, showers, dressing, measuring intake and output etc.), vital signs, weights, observation of urine specimen collection, transporting and lifting patients, and care of psychiatric patients
