JOB TITLE : Airframe Inspector

LOCATION : Wichita KS

PAY RATE : $43 / hour

Summary :

Use and interpret drawings inspection manuals specifications shop math precision measuring instruments and specialized inspection tools / equipment.

Work in accordance with Quality Management System (QMS) policies and procedures.

Apply working knowledge of company policies procedures and specifications.

Maintain an overall understanding of production processes.

Communicate effectively in both written and verbal formats.

Utilize computing skills to support inspection tasks.

Maintain required certifications.

Follow inspection (shop) procedures to accept or reject processes parts and assemblies.

Verify qualification status of tools.

Prepare and maintain accurate quality records.

Perform work across equivalent or lower-level inspector job codes as needed.

Requirements :

Consistent and punctual attendance.

Ability to obtain and maintain all required training and certifications.

Availability to work any shift (1st 2nd or 3rd).

Ability to support periods of heavy overtime.

5 years of aerospace airframe assembly inspection experience.

Proficiency in blueprint reading.

Experience using MS Office and SAP .

Experience writing NCRs (Tags) .

Must be a U.S. Citizen (as defined by ITAR).

Preferred Qualifications :

Additional SAP experience.

Previous Boeing experience.

Experience with 737 Airframe / Fuselage .
