We are seeking an Onsite Program Quality Engineer (PQE) to serve within Precision Fires and Maneuver. The PQE will support Engineering and Manufacturing Development (EMD) as well as production contracts ensuring that program goals are accomplished while staying compliant to AS9100 requirements. The successful candidate of Quality and Mission Assurance (QMA) Professionals will help safeguard the effective integration and implementation of RTX processes and procedures within the constraints of Raytheon Command Media.

The ideal candidate will have a dynamic mindset and the ability to influence peers and offer creative results to complex challenges that arise during the planning and implementation phases of development and production. The candidate will collaborate closely with all cross-functional teams including systems electrical mechanical operations supply chain and systems integration and test to guarantee that mission goals and contractual requirements have been met.

This position is an onsite role in Tucson Arizona .

What You Will Do :

• Serve as a member of the Javelin Program team ensuring successful program performance deliver conforming products / services through effective collaboration and compliance to processes and procedures.
• Lead integration and implementation of cross-functional teams to ensure alignment to quality and customer requirements per the program quality plan.
• Serve as a program quality liaison across customer organizations (Defense Contract Management Agency (DCMA) and United States Government (USG)) as well as relevant factories and engineering labs as first responder for quality issues and concerns related to development and production products.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and partner with program leadership team to define and implement quality improvement strategies.
• Support supplier quality and supplier engineering efforts to help ensure compliance to the supplier program quality plan.
• Review and approve changes to the technical data package assign actions when necessary and complete actions in a timely manner when assigned. This includes but is not limited to : Peer reviews Engineering Review / Change Control Board (ERB / CCB) and / or Design reviews.
• Ensure all development hardware (Engineering Proof of Design and Proof of Manufacturing) are appropriately documented in the quality history records and align to quality and customer requirements per the program quality plan.

Onsite : Employees who are working in onsite roles will work primarily onsite. This includes all production and maintenance employees as they are essential to the development of our products.

Clearance Information : This position requires the eligibility to obtain a security clearance. The Defense Industrial Security Clearance Office (DISCO) an agency of the Department of Defense handles and adjudicates the security clearance process. The salary range for this role is 82000 USD - 164000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer including but not limited to the role function and associated responsibilities a candidates work experience location education / training and key skills.

Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and / or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including but not limited to individual performance business unit performance and / or the companys performance.

This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
