Join Our Team as a Host at Little Maven!

Are you a warm, welcoming individual with a knack for creating positive first impressions? Little Maven is on the lookout for an energetic and personable Host to become a key player in our front-of-house team. As a Host, you'll set the tone for our guests' experience, ensuring a smooth and enjoyable start to their visit.

What You'll Do :

  • Greet and Welcome Guests : Provide a friendly and professional welcome to every guest as they arrive, setting a positive tone for their dining experience.
  • Manage Reservations : Handle reservations efficiently, greet guests upon arrival, and manage seating arrangements to optimize the flow of the dining room.
  • Coordinate Seating : Guide guests to their tables in a timely manner, balancing the seating chart to ensure an even distribution of guests and minimize wait times.
  • Communicate with the Team : Collaborate with servers, bartenders, and kitchen staff to ensure seamless service and address any special requests or needs.
  • Handle Guest Inquiries : Answer phone calls, address guest inquiries, and resolve any issues or concerns with professionalism and a friendly attitude.
  • Maintain a Clean and Organized Host Area : Keep the host stand, waiting area, and entrance clean and organized, ensuring a pleasant environment for guests.

What We’re Looking For :

  • Friendly Demeanor : A genuine, welcoming attitude and the ability to make guests feel comfortable and valued from the moment they arrive.
  • Organizational Skills : Strong organizational abilities and the capability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in a busy environment.
  • Communication Skills : Excellent verbal communication skills and the ability to interact positively with guests and team members.
  • Attention to Detail : A keen eye for detail in managing reservations, seating arrangements, and maintaining a clean host area.
  • Team Player : Ability to work collaboratively with other staff members to ensure a smooth and enjoyable dining experience for all guests.
  • Flexibility : Availability to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.
  • Experience : Previous experience in a host or customer service role is preferred. A passion for providing excellent guest service is essential.
