LocumJobsOnline is working with Lancesoft Inc to find a qualified Family Practice MD in Virginia!

A well-established outpatient clinic in  Franklin, Virginia  is seeking a  Board-Certified Family Medicine Physician  for  locum tenens coverage  from  July 2025 through January 2026 .

Position Details :

Location :  Franklin, VA

Practice Setting :  Outpatient Clinic

Schedule :  Full-time coverage with  1 week of call every 6 weeks  (call schedule is Monday to the following Monday, covering Southampton Practices only)

Patient Volume :  20–25 patients per day

Practice Population :  Teenagers (16+), Adults, Geriatrics

Support Staff :  1 on-site mid-level provider; no other physicians in office

Exam Rooms :  2

EMR :  EPIC

On-Site Services :  Blood draw

Procedures Required :

General outpatient Family Medicine (Adults and Pediatrics 16+)

No OB, ICU / CCU, or inpatient responsibilities

No ED backup or in-house code response

Compensation & Benefits :

Hourly Rate :  $210

Malpractice Coverage :  Comprehensive, provided

Travel & Lodging :  Complimentary

Mileage Reimbursement Only  (Must be local)

Requirements : Board Certified

Active Virginia License

BLS Certification

Must be Local – Only mileage will be reimbursed
