.NET Developer

Location : Columbus OH

Position Type : Onsite

Contract Length : 5 months extensions

Position Overview :

This role supports agile application development initiatives by collaborating closely with cross-functional IT teams to design build test deploy and support modern software solutions. The consultant will lead or contribute to the modernization of legacy systems into scalable applications while providing technical guidance and customer support.

Duties :

Collaborate with IT leadership project managers business analysts QA and development teams within an Agile development environment.

Gather and analyze business and technical requirements to support application design and development efforts.

Design develop and enhance applications technologies including C# Core MVC Web API Windows Forms and SQL Server.

Rewrite and modernize legacy applications into secure solutions.

Implement applications using N-tier architecture in alignment with established coding standards and best practices.

Perform application testing troubleshooting and defect resolution to ensure quality and performance.

Deploy application updates and enhancements across environments.

Prepare technical documentation presentations and demonstrations to showcase functionality and changes.

Provide technical customer support and resolve post-deployment issues.

Offer technical leadership mentoring and guidance to development staff as needed.

Required Skills :

10 years of experience as a .NET Web Developer building Core MVC applications.

10 years of experience developing with using the C# programming language.

10 years of experience designing and developing SQL Server databases including query optimization tables views stored procedures and functions.

10 years of experience developing web applications Framework 4.0 or higher.

10 years of experience developing applications using Entity Framework (EF) 4.0 or later.

10 years of verifiable experience with Service-Oriented Architecture (SOA) including developing and securing Windows Communication Foundation (WCF) services.

10 years of experience or demonstrated understanding of N-tier application architectures related to development and deployment.

10 years of experience or demonstrated understanding of code repository strategies code promotion and recovery using Azure DevOps (TFS).

5 years of experience developing projects within an Agile methodology using TFS / Azure DevOps.

5 years of experience implementing AJAX-enabled controls within web applications.

5 years of experience or demonstrated understanding of developing mobile-compliant web applications.

5 years of experience developing SQL Server Reporting Services (SSRS) reports and integrating them into MVC web applications.

5 years of experience developing with Visual Studio including 2 years using Visual Studio 2019.

5 years of experience using TFS / Azure DevOps including Git repositories boards and CI / CD pipelines.

2 years of experience developing RESTful APIs and web services Core 5.

2 years of experience with Test-Driven Development (TDD) or implementing verifiable application testing strategies.
