For those looking to make a difference and find a professional home, Wipfli offers a career-defining opportunity. / ph3Responsibilities / h3p Manage a remote accounting team including job time budgets and job profitability. / pp Provides general advisory services to clients via scheduled remote meetings. / pp Direct point of contact for construction client engagements. / pp Partners with client accounting staff and CFO to maintain and foster relationships within construction industry. / pp Research and share knowledge of best practices in areas of business concern or interest to each client. / pp Responsible for managing and finalizing the accounting period close. / pp Review financial statements, contracts in progress schedule, management reports and other key performance indicators for accuracy. / pp Manage financial reporting accuracy for clients and Board of Directors. / pp Advise client on process improvement in their accounting department and internal controls. / pp Provide technical accounting assistance to clients and internal team. / pp Mentor and train direct reports to grow in their roles and responsibilities. / pp Embrace new technology, including various accounting software and demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn quickly. / ph3Knowledge, Skills and Abilities / h3p Bachelors degree in accounting or finance required. / pp 8+ years of advanced, hands on full cycle accounting experience including financial statement preparation within the construction industry. / pp Experience with contracts in progress (WIP) schedule is preferred. / pp Previous public accounting experience preferred. / pp Minimum of 2 years supervisory experience. / pp Ability to quickly embrace, adapt and learn new technology that will include various accounting softwares. / pp Experience with Netsuite, Yardi, Appfolio, QuickBooks Online and Sage Intacct preferred but not required. / pp Proven ability to build and manage relationships. / pp Professional certification (e.g. CPA, CMA) preferred but not required. / pp Demonstrate the ability to adapt and learn quickly. / pp

The estimated base pay range for this role is $103,000 to $154,000 with offers typically not made at the maximum, allowing for future salary increases.
