Network Automation Engineer

A company is looking for a Network Automation Engineer to support a long-term Federal network modernization program.

Key Responsibilities

Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks for network device automation

Create reusable automation frameworks for multi-vendor environments

Implement Infrastructure-as-Code best practices for deployments and compliance

Required Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field

3+ years of Cisco networking experience, with at least 3 years in a network automation role

Strong understanding of TCP / IP, routing protocols, and network configurations

Proficiency with Ansible, YAML, Jinja2, and Git

Experience with CI / CD platforms and Python scripting for automation
