Position Overview

We are seeking a skilled Wire EDM Operator with strong Esprit programming capabilities and solid progressive die tooling knowledge. This role is key to producing high-precision components for progressive stamping operations. The ideal candidate is mechanically strong, detail-oriented, and comfortable working independently in a fast-paced toolroom environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Program, set up, and operate Wire EDM machines using Esprit
• Machine precision components for progressive dies, tooling, and fixtures
• Interpret blueprints, GD&T, die designs, and solid models
• Perform necessary offsets, adjustments, and routine machine care
• Inspect parts using micrometers, calipers, height gages, and other precision instruments
• Support toolmakers and die engineers with tooling requirements
• Troubleshoot fixturing, cutting conditions, and programming issues
• Maintain all documentation and meet internal quality standards
• Contribute to continuous improvement and lean manufacturing initiatives
