We're looking for a Backend Developer (Python-Focused) to join our team on a part-time basis, with the potential to scale up to full-time based on performance and project flow. This is a highly flexible remote role, ideal for a problem-solver who's confident in Python, understands backend architecture, and isn't afraid to test out new toolsincluding AI-powered dev accelerators.

You'll help build backend APIs and services, connect third-party systems, and optimize our data workflows. Your ability to think on your feet and deliver fast, functional code will be key to our progress.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain backend services and APIs using Python
• Build and integrate with RESTful and GraphQL APIs
• Work with both NoSQL (MongoDB, DynamoDB) and relational databases (PostgreSQL, MySQL)
• Deploy and manage services on AWS, especially Lambda and API Gateway
• Collaborate on building rapid MVPs using modern tooling and AI code assistants
• Contribute ideas for architecture, automation, and workflow improvements
• Proactively test, debug, and deliver reliable backend code

Ideal Candidate Profile

Strong Python development experience

AWS (Lambda, API Gateway, S3, etc.)
